Vic Firth Orchestral Series Keyboard Mallets are designed for creating full tone on xylophone and bells. The hard Lexan head is great for making a clear sound on xylophone, bells and other instruments that require a strong, clean attack. The brass weight in the center of the mallet gives you more control over the sound without the bar noise on impact. This mallet has a rattan handle that gives it more flex and an open sound with less dampening than wood handles.
